ICYMI: During the Meet the Press discussion about the gun debate in our country, following the Parkland high school massacre, presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin weighs in on the shifting tide toward stricter gun control in America. “Maybe I’m being too optimistic, but I do think we’ve reached a tipping point here. It may take time. But I think this Parkland situation and the students and the business guys stepping in right now — where there’s a vacuum of political leadership. Something is happening. We’ve got to believe it.” Listen to more of the discussion here with Chuck Todd, Tom Brokaw, Katy Tur and Al Cardenas.
